- Schedule time off work, or give yourself enough time between assignments
- Don’t buy groceries within two weeks of moving
- Get all your supplies in one trip
- Find free boxes at liquor stores or big box retailers
- Have an overwhelming wardrobe? Purge things you don’t wear or use
- Keep important documents in a clear container and keep track of the box you put them in
- Pack an overnight bag for the first day
- Leave clothes on hangers
- Use space bags
- Finish packing before moving day
